Young talents working for a good cause – “Genial sozial” campaign at Caminauer Kaolinwerk

Things got really lively here at Caminauer Kaolinwerk on Tuesday: As part of the Saxony-wide initiative “Genial sozial – Deine Arbeit gegen Armut” (Ingeniously social – your work against poverty), we welcomed four dedicated school students who spent a day getting a taste of our day-to-day work – for a good cause.

Instead of receiving a daily salary as usual, the young people donate their work, while we as a company pass on the equivalent value to social projects. A strong idea that we support wholeheartedly.

A day full of impressions – and responsibility

The young participants lent a hand in various areas of the plant – from production to logistics and administration. They experienced first-hand how varied the tasks are at our company and how important teamwork, reliability and commitment are in everyday working life.

Why “Genial sozial” is more than just a day of action

This initiative teaches young people important values: social commitment, a sense of responsibility and solidarity. Those who learn at an early age to lend a hand and give something back will also actively help shape our society later on.
