The fact that our raw materials now reliably make their way from the extraction site to the customer is the result of a logistics infrastructure that has evolved over decades. Bright sunshine and many interested guests: Together with the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s Alliance for Biodiversity, Quarzwerke demonstrated at its Frechen site how economics and ecology can work together in very concrete ways. Not as a theoretical concept, but in a way that could be seen, heard, and experienced firsthand on site.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the SME network of the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce to a special summer get-together at Quarzwerke in Frechen.
The new name was introduced for the first time at the K plastics trade fair in 2010 and has since established itself internationally as an independent brand.
