Safety Day at the Caminau kaolin plant

A day dedicated to safety, health, and the environment: On Friday, March 21, 2025, colleagues at the Caminau kaolin plant held their first Safety Day.

Our company bears a great responsibility—not only for safe and healthy working conditions, but also for our environment. That is why we used this special Safety Day to provide our colleagues with targeted information and training and to explore important topics in greater depth together.

Working in small, rotating groups, the focus was on occupational safety, environmental protection, and health and safety. The training was not just theoretical, but also involved practical implementation directly on site at the Caminau plant. A particular highlight was that many employees had the opportunity to get to know areas of the plant that they would not normally see on their daily commute to work. Even though the individual areas have different focuses, these topics are important to all of us.

The perfect weather and bratwurst freshly grilled by the plant manager made the day not only educational, but also a wonderful shared experience. Because in addition to further training, one thing above all else was in the foreground: our cohesion as a team.

The health and safety of our colleagues and the protection of our environment are particularly important to us. A big thank you to everyone who contributes to this every day—with attentiveness, commitment, and team spirit!
