Arrive, understand, connect—the information day at Amberger Kaolinwerke!

How does it feel to become part of a company whose products are found in countless everyday objects—yet hardly anyone is aware of them?
This question hung unspoken in the air as new employees of Amberger Kaolinwerke gathered for their information day. The goal: to gain a deeper understanding of our raw materials kaolin, quartz, and feldspar—and what they make possible.

The day began with a look at the big picture: What do Amberger Kaolinwerke stand for? Where are we headed? Open discussions made it clear that our products are backed not only by technology and precision, but also by a clear vision—sustainable quality, grown out of tradition and innovative strength.

As the day progressed, participants learned about the diversity of the company: from the shared values and structures that shape our daily interactions to the wide range of development and career opportunities that await our employees. It was particularly impressive to see how topics such as occupational safety, team spirit, and communication are not only taught in theory but also actively practiced.

After a joint lunch break—during which initial discussions and connections began to develop—we were given an exciting insight into the product portfolio. This clearly demonstrated how versatile our raw materials are: whether in the ceramics, glass, or paper industry, they form the invisible basis of many high-quality end products that accompany us in our daily lives.

The final highlight was the factory tour. Between pipes, treatment tanks, and refining plants, theory became practice, and abstract processes became tangible experience. Many participants reported that they now truly understood for the first time how complex and precise the manufacture of our products is—and how much passion goes into it.

The information day was more than just an introduction: it was an invitation to become part of a community that combines knowledge, responsibility, and enthusiasm for raw materials.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who made this day possible and helped to organize it—and, of course, to our new colleagues, who enrich Amberger Kaolinwerke with their curiosity, openness, and commitment.
