🚒 When a factory site suddenly becomes a training ground …

A gas explosion, fires in several parts of the facility, and missing persons: The Haltern am See Fire Department simulated this challenging scenario during its annual final drill on our company grounds. Fortunately, it was only a drill—but a very valuable one.

It’s impressive to see the professionalism, dedication, and teamwork with which the various units collaborate. Exercises like these prepare them for real-life emergencies, strengthen coordination among emergency responders, and help them become familiar with local conditions.

That is why we regularly support drills conducted by local fire departments at many of our locations. After all, safety isn’t something that only comes into play during an emergency—it stems from thorough preparation and strong local partnerships.
